We use the information to operate and provide the Service; process uploaded documents and generate output; verify email addresses and deliver transcripts and results; send transactional messages and occasional product or feedback emails; fulfill promotional-item shipping; maintain security and prevent abuse; process payments; and comply with legal obligations.
The Service relies on third-party providers that process data on our behalf, including Claude AI (provided by Anthropic, PBC) and other artificial intelligence and text-to-speech providers that generate text and synthesized speech, our email provider, our hosting and data-storage providers, and Stripe for payments. Content you upload is transmitted to these AI and text-to-speech providers as part of producing your output, and their use of that data is governed by their own terms and policies. You should not upload material you are not authorized to share with third-party AI services, and you remain responsible for protecting privileged or confidential client information (see the Terms of Use).
For added realism and to help advocates be better prepared and familiar with who they will appear in front of, the moot court simulators use the names, official photos, and a randomly synthesized voice of current and historic judges and justices. These are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any court, judge, or justice. All questions and commentary are generated by artificial intelligence and are randomly assigned to the judges and justices; they do not reflect the views of any actual judge or justice and do not represent that any judge or justice would ask these questions or raise these issues. This is a practice tool and does not provide legal advice.
Uploaded documents and generated results are retained only as long as needed to provide the Service and are subject to automatic expiration. Account email addresses, usage records, and shipping addresses are retained while your account or relationship with the Service is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
Transactional emails (such as sign-in links, receipts, and transcripts) are part of the Service. Invitation and feedback emails include an unsubscribe link; you can opt out of those at any time, and we honor opt-out requests.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email contact@MyAppealCoach.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is intended for legal professionals and adult students enrolled in law school, and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
The Service is operated in the United States and your information is processed there. By using the Service you consent to that processing.
